We have had about 7-8cm today. Enough to freshen the pistes up for a couple of day's. Snow'd most of the day. Just light snow now.

The Tignes website is reporting 13 cm at Le Lac and 20cm on the Gd. Motte.....Keep it coming

Snowing lightly in Val Claret on and off all day. It's 16.45 and snowing heavy in Le Lac. Pistes are in very good condition. Been over to Le Fornet today and the motorway's over there were all 6th gear stuff. Really good.

Staying in La Daille this week but over in Tignes this afternoon. Morning was wonderful. Afternoon was getting a bit soft and lumpy but under perfect sunny blue skies who cares??

Fantastic higher up on both the Tignes and Val d'Isere sides. A bit soft and lumpy lower down. Gorgeous blue skies and bright sunshine. (Just realised I said all that yesterday - but it's still true). Lift operators in fancy dress because it's Carnaval today (Pancake Tuesday to those of you stuck in the UK).
It's tough but someone has to be here.

What's the latest situation on the Tour du Charvet?
We plan to include this in another Vanoise tour the first week in April and am getting a little worried that there won't be snow down at le Manchet at ~2000m.

The weather came in today. High winds and poor visibility. Snow forecast but not much falling as yet. Still managed a good morning. Home tomorrow. Maybe one more swift trip out here before the end of the season - assuming some snow does actually fall.
