It was Valentines day............. but did have a pancake at work .....I am sure your balcony has done a sterling job in my absence

It snowed heavily from 10:30 to 2pm, big lumps of heavy snow a l'anglais more is forecast for late afternoon

Snowing here  -had a great morning lots of untracked powder snow and you could see where you were going- got a bit heavier after about 12 then the clouds rolled in and the vis went -snow forecast again tomorrow-up the hill-and again we will see what we get in Monty-heavy snow now 0 degrees on the balcony

Snowing here at the moment- we seem to be on the snow /rain line and we are alternating between the two-dumping it down above 1800
Set out to do the North Face in sun and blue sky -by the time we got to Belcote it was cloudy and by Roche de Mio flat light........  so no North Face
|

Had a real storm here over night- wind (rain) thunder-the rain had turned to snow when the wind woke me up at 5-45 blowing the snow horizontal down the road..up the road actually-must be loads of snow higher up but the wind will have had a big impact

-2 on the what not -can see the moon behind thin cloud but snow is forecast for today- lots of off piste been done over last couple of days excellent down to 1800 but sudays rain and refreeze has left a crust on top of the powder cockofthenorth, had a great adventure yesterday on the North Face............

Can anybody based in Montalbert give an indication of how long it takes from Montalbert to Plagne centre? A relative newcomer to Snowheads is planning a trip to Courchevel via Champagny and would like some approximate timings. Beautiful day again, crisp, blue sky. Skiing has been fab in the last week, the snow is in great condition considering there hasn't been fresh snow for weeks. Thank goodness for snow cannons!
