Hi Mouth
Just to let you know i will not be able to take out little one due to the fact that jess fell over last week and broke her coller bone and we have been told that she cant ski for a while.
Great morning in mixed conditions. Up at Aime 2000 it was a whiteout and very windy. Loads of powder but visibility lacking so skied around the golf chair area in untracked powder until conditions sarted to improve. Headed to PLagne 1800 and again just untracked powder most of the way down.
Heading back to Montalbert the piste conditions were good but headed for the drag lift powder section. Skiing past the Forperet was a joy as noone around and no tracks. Powder all the way to the village. Skies have now cleared and tomorrow should b a great day once the pistes have been prepared tonight.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

-12 on the balcony -blue sky on our side of the hill bank of cloud on the other side-supposed to be very cold all day today with -19 forecast at 2000-went out yesterday afternoon after a very snowy trip from here to La Rosiere and on to Lyon 2 hrs from here to la Ros at 3am. .............................skiing all off piste up to your knees and higher in my case at times (I blamed the early morning) finnished off by skiing down to Longefoy which was great- the snow in the Montalbert section seemed lighter and deeper- I think the wind had taken its toll higher up
One of my 'things to do'......
How did you get back up?

Please can all of the Montalbert regulars keep an eye out for season rentals available for next winter and let me know if you hear of anything?
Fairly flexible on size and we dont need exclusive use all winter, in particualr we would be happy not to use it at all in Feb.
Hope the snow continues to fall for you out there

Hi Mouth, yes indeed it's for us.
We are enjoying Champagny this winter but now that brother in law has new baby as well Monty would be much better/easier all round as that is where others in the family have a place so maximum babysitting efficiency!
Hope you are enjoying your season, we are back over in March and Mrs C and I planning plenty of skiing as my Dad will be babysitting so we'll head over your way and catch up for a coffee

Great we are back in Monty on 16th so if you are around after this then let me know. Outlaws arrive 18th so we have baby sitters too so we could ski with you or meet up for coffee somewhere in LP area?

Must say relatively quiet pistes which enabled Boredsurfing, family to ski with us. Here is a little boredsurfing being followed by an even littler mouth junior. Great conditions and snow and fuin being had
