Mike Pow, fabric is good. the current ones seem to be even heavier duty, which may help with durability but those red ones are the least crinkly 3L goretex fabric I have come across. I managed to knock a clip off the snow gaiters (presumably with an errant ski edge) which is a bit annoying but would be easy enough to mend. all in all, very good kit. not sure i'd pay the (eye watering) list price but I got a deal...

Someone needs to tidy up that URL
