davidhammy, As cathy, suggests there is 'history' (and not necessarily 'good history') between the formative member of SV and SH's. Inc. such things as banning the word 'snowheads' from their new forum, and less than clarity between their involvement with SH's and other organisations. I guess we've got a bit jandiced because of it, but the attitude isn't without reason.

davidhammy, If you care to browse a while you'll see sno vole is almost all commercial interest and almost no community. That aligns with its founder's vision that a UK snow sports forum is predominantly for sucking the wotsit of the UK ski industry while making a tidy penny for those with a tidy contacts book like Mr Keith. Look at any of his involvement including erudite debates under socks here and marvel at his mastery of written English as he vanquishes naysayers. There's a reason people think he's a tool.
