Lou, That was a small cheat, it was Cairngorm. Still there was a damn site more snow last year looking at the web cams and reports. Easter is also a lot earlier this year!!!!

Just back from Cervinia (not a million miles from Pila) and yes it has been a complete heatwave this week. Pretty sure I have never skied in 15º heat before. 2 weeks of high temperatures and non-stop sunshine have had a rather detrimental effect on the pistes. But fear not, it got colder and started snowing last night.

c0Ka|Ne, It was really quite funny, you can't tell from that piccy as it was taken at great distance with a point and shoot but those moguls were 2-3 feet, they were massive, bodies everywhere. Ptarmigan bowl in all honesty wasn't as bad, but was sheet ice.

c0Ka|Ne,it was fantastic mogul training, my wifes first time hittin the bumps, she was howling with laughter. She needed a skin full of muscle relaxant later on though
