l'Ours Blanc. Every day of the week. Just up the road, piste or whatever they call it from Reberty. Forget about the skiing, lunch is what's important on a ski trip.

In the Belleville Valley:
From the top of Tougnete - Pramint AND Jerusalem, you will want to do both twice. Also get down to St Martin on one of the runs
From top of 3 MArches - Grand Lac AND Allemands
Col De La Chambe - 4 vents AND Mont de la Chambre
Le Masse - Everything
Same Valley but in VT:
Everything off the Peclet Funitel (Christine, Tete Rond, Lac Blanc, Beranger) in fact it is all good in VT apart from the flat bit from the Knife 'n' Fork into and through town.
We have been there on trips and not bothered dropping out of the Bellville Valley

One other thing. Everyone raves about Mont Vallon but La Masse licks its ass imho, in many different ways.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Frosty the Snowman, the snow stays on Mt Vallon better than it does on La Masse when it's warm, though. To say La Masse was sketchy when I was last there is putting it mildly! Fantastic mountain when the conditions are right, though.

How long from my location would it take to get to Courchevel 1650? 1.5 hours?

FtS will have better advice, but I can't think it would take that long if you go by the most direct route.

You can do it in 5 lifts and 5 (long) runs if you take the most direct route. I reckon you will spend about 50 minutes or so on the lifts alone (unless you ride with someone else that is )
It is a fantastic run out and takes in some stunning scenery. The beauty of the 3 Valleys is that more often than not you will have multiple choices of routes and runs, wherever you decide to go.
The ski area is mindblowing and you will have a fantastic time! I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of it.

To be honest I've been looking at a piste map for a few hours today, and I hadnt even thought of going down to orelle! Is it really worth a trip over? I will let you know my thought in it when i return, but the thought of opening the front door and clipping into my skis is uber exciting!

Definitely. It's worth the view from the top alone.

It's only 3 lifts away and you can visit the highest spot in the 3v.

Yes. To put things right, I realise the Fourth Valley is not a long way from Reberty, but it is a long way to the top of the lifts in that valley. And they are quite slow. You need to allocate a fair chunk of time if you are going there. Worth it though, and I agree about how good La Masse is.

Ricklovesthepowder, another thing to try in the 3V is the Chanrossa black run over on the Courchevel side if you're feeling confident. Not too steep, always nicely groomed, very wide and no moguls (in my expereince)
Saulire - the high point between the Meribel & Courchevel valleys is also a great place to visit - spectacular position and views. This is where the Creux run (mentioned above) starts.
Great area, all this chitty-chat makes me realise I'm overdue another visit

red 27, Cheers. Not that keep on black runs but some of them are over classified in my opinion. I will give it a go, especially if its groomed.
