It's been snowing here for about the last week although the freezing levels were hovering around Whistler midstation during the day at the beginning of last week. Well they've come down now and the village is all white and it's still snowing. They reckon 11cm in the last 24 hours but it looks like more and they're forecasting 20 to 30cm tomorrow. It's looking amazing out there!!

Acacia, yes doing another camp this week and it's fantastic. Nothing has been open up top for the last couple of days although they opened the Glacier Express chair for a bit yesterday and we managed to get up for a run. Saw someone start a mini slide and get carried down with it which was a bit dramatic but not life threatening. There was so much snow yesterday - 62cm in 24 hours and 40cm of that was overnight. Only 8cm last night but it looks like the winds are dying down and it's looking clear up top from what we can see from our place. Looking like another great day!

The queue at the Peak Chait was well worth it. W bowl -> Xmas Trees was some of the best pow I have skied.
Now just gone 2, aiming a quick Saudan followed by Spankys before ski school pick up. Will have to hustle!
Eta: top of Spankys to the apron without a stop *will* make your quads burn.
Made it in time though!

Bump!!
Hi Folks,
Thinking of heading to Whistler this coming season around the 3rd & 4th week in March. Just wondering:
- Is El Nino (& Whistler) weather outlook looking good for this coming season?
- And is the 3rd week of March still reliable enough for powder snow?
thanks for all replies,
Horgand
