Snow Reports
FAQ
Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Dr John
,
well, maybe, but I know lots of higher end rec skiers and some instructors/coaches who would share my opinion. Also I do think there are many people who don't appreciate what's been a poor boot fitting/selling process, come away happy with a quick "comfort" fit
but would really have come away happy from anywhere with anything...

I'll second the
Movement
Jams - liked them so much I bought a pair. For this year the Yaka and the Jam are different skis. Check out the
Movement
website

Some deals to be had too with a bit of googling!
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Well i will be heading to MK dome to test a couple if possible from EB, if one stands out then i will grab a pair, if not i will wait untill i get out to Austria.
Yeah i don't think i will going much shorter than 185, it has always been a bit of a difficulty choosing a ski lenght just because i am a little on the short side shall we say! As i said at the start i am 5,7ft and around 80 kg so short but heavy, (Although i have to clear up not infact fat!! haha)
The resort i'm going to is Saalbach if anyone knows the resort any info on decent test centres etc would be good.
