What about ski racers outfits. the legs appear to go inside the boot? |
Hopefully with their feet attached. Their race suits just stretch over the tops of the boots.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Boredsurfing, It makes you wonder if someone has a lack of original thought when they start to have to posting threads about threads

I still have some good friends who I met through there. I'm still welcome at events they run. Oh, and none of them think of me as a grumpy old bint. |
Nice! Didn't he get thrown out of here for being unable to ski or somesuch?

gorilla, I seem to remember someone mistook him for a ski god and then threw a hissy fit on discovering that he wasn't. Not that he's ever claimed to be any such thing, as far as I know.

gorilla, and shock horror he has never done a season, surely a cardinal sin on Natives and BTW he is quite old as well, but not old enough for Sagaheads

Boredsurfing, he has been ridiculed occasionally for his status as a blatant punter. Mainly by me though, so it probably doesn't count.

Usually I get too hot and have to wear a thin jacket/trousers. Even in -20 degrees I didn't get cold, where are you skiing that needs thermals?

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Skins are fine in the boot, they are so thin, tight and seamless they dont add any bulk. Any thing else is a no no. 3/4 length skins although good leave a 4" gap between skins and boot which allows your calve to swell (ask e how I know, I now wear full length)
Skins are great for skiing, if you havnt tried em you should

michaelf, Look a little harder, they are on the outside usually over the top clips. Bode is rumoured to not even wear socks in his boots!
I cut the bottoms off my base layer LJ's as they had seams and 4 season later they still haven't unravelled, new Icebreaker 3/4 length ones purchased last year, very nice too.
