marc gledhill, it completely depends on the ski. An examiner I know who is probably a little lighter than your bride skis the b5 in a 152. My general rule is to get a ski that's as short as reasonable that doesn't cause instability. I'll likely have my bride on a 150-160, depending on the ski, and she's about the size of your wife.

pollittcl, could you tell me a bit more about how you decided on the gamma 320? I'm trying to choose between that and the 724 ext; like you i'm classed as an advanced skier and love to go fast on the blues but will toss in a few bumps / real steeps now and then to mix it up.
what other skis have you tried / liked? are you skiing mainly groomed powder or any ice / hardpack?
