Starts snowing tonight possibly through to Friday. 
Wind changing constantly, & Daytim temperatures not remaining below zero. Nightime temperatures will remain cold which is good for snow making.

Although as the days pass the amount of snow forecast is looking less and less.
I'm starting to get impatient for the first big dump that actually lasts. It had better be good by December when I go!

Yep stanton, it is coming for sure. We are expecting snow here in Innsbruck and I have just got off the phone to a hire shop in St Anton and they are expecting over a metre this weekend. They are throwing parties all weekend in their ski shops to celebrate the snow and the start of winter - they know how to do it in the Arlberg

Wind looks rather strong high up so there will be some exposed areas. But that is probably nit picking. I'll happily take the 50cms + wind

1st morning's sliding is good.
Its touch and go if the Arlberg gets the snow at the weekend.
The warm air from the south & cold air form north look to clash over Northern Italy,Switzerland so they will be OK, we may get some as well in Arlberg.

It snowed a bit last night, A few cm on the car in the town this morning.
The skiing for the opening weekend was excellent, there was tons of snow. No queues, no ice and loads of lovely white stuff.
