Can I count for December 11th, either Verbier or Crans Montana (decision to be made last week November) depending on snow.
Our flight gets into GVA late friday, so it will be first lifts on the saturday morning.

Steve Sparks, no problem. Late entries are allowed provided they are later than me. Can you just confirm you will at some point have a vin chaud and play table football to qualify for entry ?
2 Dec: NickW (Sauze)
4 Dec: maggi (Tignes)
11 Dec: Steve Sparks (Verbier/Crans Montana)
12 Dec: AlpineWalker (Cervinia), manda (Tignes)

pollittcl,
unfortuntely at home doesn't count and you haven't fulfilled the vin chaud criteria but right now I'd rather be in California more than anywhere on the rest of the ski planet.

NickW, Oh, bu%%er. I'm back, but I forgot to play table football. Does that mean I forfeit the silver medal?

It'll be a while.... But - I'm going to Serre Che on 29 Jan. You're the expert, (buying a place out there?) so, are there any bars with table football in Villeneuve (sp?)?

maggi, we'll just miss you, going home on 28th. I'll just ask the kids, I think there's a football table in a couple of them. the boys have definitely played it there.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

maggi, er, I'm afraid yes you should forfeit second place but as it's my thread and I make up the rules and I won and you're not from the Sarth, I will magnaminously (?) allow you to retain second place.
I know, I know, thank me later.
I've now got Sweden (!) lined up for a weekend and two weeks in best of the US - Jackson Hole in March. Just need to squeeze another week in, in Europe and I'll be a happy bunny.

Jackson's good. I did a weekend there last season.

You know it makes sense.

Yeah, I can't wait (it was you that pointed me to Bob Peters, who has been very helpful).
I was there for a couple of days in September a few years back and the place had a good feel to it. Can't wait to actually ski there.

Thank you! I promise to play in Serre Che. And I did admit not playing. I could have pretended (ie lied) and nobody would have known. But I am a very honest person and just could not do it
