Thanks for those answers. Is there a website to register for an associaton for next year's discounts?

@Chamcham, yes, but which valley will you be starting from- doesn’t matter too much but in practical terms, you will want to pick up your pass from a resort you’re staying in. You need to join individually. See earlier posts in this thread with various links. A.B.S.L is the Belleville valley one (St Martin, Les Menuires and Val Thorens).

Just had a look at the email from the ALPS association and google translate says
"Receipt by email of the discount codes between 11/12/2024 and 11/18/2024 (with purchase instructions)
Online purchase of your season pass on the Meribel Alpina or S3V websites at the reduced rate, thanks to the individual discount codes transmitted, until Friday 12/06/2024"
So hopefully discount codes should be available mid Nov for purchase prior to opening day

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

As an aside, don't you just hate it when the French to English translation on the 3V websites does dates (and spelling) the American English way... . I have to pause and just rethink what those dates actually mean...

@Perty, Thanks. Probably Meribel, but we're looking at next year - this year's PdS pass already bought!

@Perty, Thank you for publicising the ABSL link again this year. I have joined up, received the code and purchased for 24/25 with existing pass recharged including carre neige. Thanks again.

Same here. Joined and code came through.
Took a lot of mucking about as it didn’t work at first. Turns out the code times out for 30 mins if used wrongly so you have to wait before trying again.
Tickets bought and ready for collection.
Out of interest has anyone had them posted to a uk address or is it always better to collect?

I think there may of been a lot of traffic on the site this morning as it crashed, then when reconnected my codes wouldn’t work.

Yup-what a faff! Last year I bought the passes with discounts on the VT site, but the VT ticket site wouldn't let me use the new discount code even though it recognised the pass numbers. I went back to an old Les Menuires account which I hadn't used for years and is in my OH's name (misspelt). Lots of going round in circles, but the discount codes worked, the reduction came up, 30 mins of faffing to upload new photos (MacBook pro, photo upload a complete nightmare!). They are done-took about an hour.
I had thought I had a baked potato in the oven and it would be cooked by now, but sadly not.
I need a lie down (and wine!!).

Funny how these things stress you out.
Was pulling my hair out.
To be fair, any email I sent whether to ABSL or the 3V websites got me a swift response. So fair play to them.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Likewise.... our photos wouldn't upload, so I will try again tomorrow. I wasted an hour trying .

So last season’s passes were sat on my account and expired. Not sure where the physical cards are so opted for new.
It’s automatically pulled the info and photos across so no uploading.

Thanks for the tipoff. We used our discounted passes in Feb 2024 in Colorado, so will need to check that now.

Excuse the hijack- can anyone point me in the direction of a 3V snow report/general update thread in these forums?
There’s such threads for Ski Arlberg and Dolomiti superski, but I can’t find one for the three valleys?

Bozel codes have all come through now - though I didn't receive mine and had to email them for a resend, despite them insisting it must be in my junk mail folder (which it wasn't...).

Has anyone received their 2024-5 season lift pass discount code from ALP Meribel yet? Their website says that codes will be issued from 12 Nov 2024 but I am rather concerned that I haven't heard anything since I submitted my application.
|
|
|
|
|
|
You might want to check with ALP how many applications they have got as I think they need to get at least 200. Last season lots of people got passes through them as they didn't check if you were actually an owner. This year they are checking, so lots of people that rent rather own have jumped ship, mostly to the Bozel association.
