When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I think today was the last day of the season down here. The last of the lifts stopped spinning a couple of weeks ago but El Niño has been delivering spring goodness. Got a cheeky 30cm last night with some base still left so skinned a lot of vertical today to get some nice turns, but it all started to slide as the sun got on it. The weather forecast for the next few days is hot and sunny, so that’s probably it.

But it’s been an almost 5 month long season and another fun one Very Happy A lot of my time this year has been spent in the back country or club fields because commercial areas here have got ridiculously busy.

Also gotta say I got an amplid split board on clearance shipped from Europe. Really good price and it’s just so much fun in powder/corn. Loving it.

Going to Canada in a few weeks time and might try sneak in a Japan trip too.
