Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

No noticeable impact in the 3 Vallees today, though we did encounter a couple of stop start lifts for the first time, which may or may not have been coincidence, but no closures.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Once again an absolute storm in a tea cup, not that the UK press or Davidof would say that. Living in the Alps for years it seems that every season there are threats of strikes, and you end up dealing with hundreds of poor tourists stressing their holiday will be impacted. And then basically nowt happens (aside from the odd lift closure that basically makes no difference).

@timlongs, @Steve Angus, Guests did get impacted by the strike on the journey up to Val d’Isere due to a protest around Albertville. The traffic was at a complete standstill/engines off people out the cars for 50 minutes just short of the roundabout where McDonalds / La Paniere is. Didn’t help that the transfer driver didn’t speak a word to the guests about the issue and ignored them.

Darn it!!! I meant on the slopes themselves as the talk in the press was about lifts being closed etc. Hope they're enjoying it now though.
