@Rogerdodger, Fantastic by Martina great achievement after all the back problems she had which curtailed her Alpine racing career. Loads of humility last week she was teaching in Wengen Ski school children's lessons and also in the office taking bookings

The first of this season's FIS Telemark World Cup races, a Sprint race, held in Pinzolo (near to Madonna di Campiglio) was won by Jasmin Taylor.
A great start to the season for Jaz!

Brilliant start and tremendous that Jaz saw off some very capable and historic rivals. But where is Martina Wyss??

|

|
@colinstone, I believe Martina is moving into ski cross racing!

Jaz won today's World Cup race in Carezza Italy. At this rate it could be the season Jaz wins the Telemark Crystal Globe!

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

You know it makes sense.

That is to be applauded @Alastair Pink, Jaz is the most successfull British skier eclipsing even Dave Ryding's achievements . Sadly, for what ever reason , Telemark is not regarded as main stream.

Somewhat bizarrely we shall see the British media frenzy as 3 men finish the Kitzbühl slalom in the top 20. Without question this is a massive day....... but, Jaz continues to stand on the top of the podium!

At the latest Telemark World Cup races in Livigno Jaz had podium positions in all three races (Two 2nd places in the two Sprint events and one 3rd place in the Classic event).
There's just one more venue on the World Cup season's Calendar in Pra Loup France (with one Classic, one Sprint and one Parallel Sprint event taking place between 18th to 21st March), Jaz is currently leading the World Cup rankings. So if Jaz puts in good performances at Pra Loup then she will win the FIS World Cup Crystal Globe, fingers crossed for her!

I don’t think they are televised, do FIS bother showing these races officially or is the best bet individual race organisers’ websites/youtube feed?
