just snowed in Birghton but then 2 minutes later it stopped and back to glorious sunshine!

marc gledhill, no anarchy in the UK today, it stopped after about half an hour. Never know though, if the front coming from the south meets the cold air in the right place we could see meltdown (ahem) next week.

We had another good fall in N. Ireland. However I wasn't able to ski on my own farm as there just wasn't a good enough base, but I did manage a few run on a friend farm a few miles in land.
We intend to head for the hill in the landrover tomorrow

Been nice all week, until 5.30pm last night when it snowed heavily....
Most of it has melted now though.

Most of the snow has disappeared atb low levels, but I was up in the Antrim Hills this morning and there is still a good covering with no thaw yet. Probably 20cm above 250m
