@chrisprout1, Chris please note for your research that some counterintuitive things apply re travel.
We seldom fly - since the carbon footprint is bad.
We have researched the greenest means of getting to the Alps, and for four of us the carbon footprint of a car is less than any other mode of transport including train.
Even if the train was the lowest, it is a failing of the Eu commission that it has not regularised long distance rail travel (single ticketing etc) to enable trains to compete with planes
@chrisprout1, You might want to add a final question. "do you think your occasional transport to the alps makes a difference to climate change compared to all the cows farting or the chinese warming their hands on their coal fires?"
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@chrisprout1, For Q10, I suspect you are asking the wrong people. Most on here would sell a kidney or their children if it got them an extra few days on the slopes.*
*I've had the kids advertised on Fleabay for ages. No bids
well with a name like Thornyhill, people would be afraid they were prickley little things.
Then you can post your own questions or snow reports...

@biddpyat, I was just about to make a pun from your name and realised that I have been reading it as biddy pat when iy isn't.

Here are the cumulative heights of snow in a winter season in Val d'Isère since 1990:
For the record, he fell, since the beginning of the 201/2017 season, 2 M45 of snow.
No decline at all then.

Fair play to the Proutman for fronting up the flak.
And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Survey design, eh?
So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

@bar shaker, eyeballing, it doesn't look as though there's a notable trend. Need to analyse.
You know it makes sense.

@chrisprout1, Done - because you took the flak.
Also, the human role in creating dangerous Climate Change is scientifically proven, so you shouldn't have to include other options (Q7). Good on you.
Otherwise you'll just go on seeing the one name:

I'm sorry, people have been very decent, but ffs, we all know livestock are a greater contributor to climate change than travelling. The prospect of us saving the world by sailing to the alps is ludicrous. Have no or less children. Don't eat meat. Fly to ski resorts as much as you want.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@8611, fewer children.....unless you are churning one out every few seconds and can't count them.
@bambionskiis, I have a left handed monkey wrench. The threads are back to front. It melts my brain trying to use the thing.
love the video. I'm rubbish at doing things back to front (except write sentences and that sort of thing!). I'll show that video to my brother who legit was sent to the parts shop for a left handed screwdriver on his first day as a trainee mechanic. Gotta love an all-male environment
