La Plagne still doing well. Winter has returned with big drop in temperature. But not much wind and sunny spells all day long, interspersed with brief snow showers.
Lovely trip over the Les Arcs and back. Needed an extra layer.
Glacier still closed, but not due to wind, rather still clearing vast amounts of snow that fell over the weekend (snow up on the glacier, but rain down here at 1800).

Windy as and all the upper mountains are closed, but you really wouldn't want to be there anyway. Enough lifts open to access the best of the trees, and most of the tourists hiding in the bars; what more could you ask for?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

All closed above mid station in Hinterglemm today (3rd place I've posted this so apologies!). Hoping for the wind to die down tomorrow, but it's forecast to be pretty strong.

@hammerite, is Bernkogel in Saalbach open? Should be as I think it's pretty much all in the trees. If you head out skiers right of the top station, and ski like 10-15 metres down, you can then cut skiers right into some mellow but fun trees which finish back at a piste.

Bernkogel 1 was but not above - according to the maps at the lift stations, but we didn't go there to make sure. We'll head to Saalbach regardless of what the maps say tomorrow as we've not skied over there yet.

Awesome day in 3v today. Went over from St Martin to Meribel and Courchevel. New overnight snow depths up top seemed to vary from about 4 inches on the St M side to about a foot in parts of Courchevel and Meribel. This was on top of the significant wetter snowfall of the preceding 2 days. Fresh tracks in piste from top of Tougnette 2 right down to the Chaudanne in Meribel. . Was with sister and her kids so had to be good and not go off and play too much off piste, but all in all an amazing day.

It wasn't as windy as yesterday definitely and snow was great. Finally took skis for service so tomorrow it should be even better especially if they open Mont-Fort that has been closed since Sunday I think.
