Snow Reports

Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

@yorkshirelad
, No. I'm not. I just try to be rational, scientific and think clearly about things.
You can chew willow bark all you like. I prefer it in a handy, refined, modern package with none of the unnecessary added fibre of eating trees in sufficient quantity to get the required dosage.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

After my patellar tendon was pulling bits of my kneecap off because of over exercising i was told that i had Sinding Johansson Larsen syndrome - similar to Osgood Schlatters; but instead on the kneecap. My leg was immobilised straight for 6 weeks and then another 6 weeks bent to try and get the muscles working again. I had lost huge amounts of muscle in my quadricep on my left leg and and also muscle loss in my calf and muscles around the knee. I then went through a very slow recovery process of physio therapy. After over a year and a half had passed from the time of the injury and i was still having a lot of pain from exercising - skiing was right around the corner. I started a strict stretching regime and gradually built it up. Other than stretching things that really helped were -Voltarol gel, KT Tape and frequent icing. I would strongly recommend these products
