@skimottaret, I think 360 camera can work, this 360 video clip is from 4 years ago using a Qoocam 360, which is a lot worse than the Insta360 X3/4. The great thing about a 360 camera is that you don't have to worry about where to point it.
That is cool. How do you enable the 360? Do you just upload the original 360 footage to YouTube?
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Exported from the Insta360 Studio/App as 360 videos and then upload to Youtube. It's automatic from there, you can tell if it has worked by a 360° symbol under the thumbnail view, once the video has been processed.
@phil_w, Thanks very helpful, I will give the 360 a miss !
With the DJI you need to zoom in a bit to avoid seeing your own shadow and to stay far enough away from the subject but keeping the distance right can be tricky when on an open piste and avoid running into anyone when staring at the phone ! Also if you are too far or close the gimbal will get into the shot.. Still playing around with it but not sure it will be that useful.
This is with the original Insta 360 from a few years back using the track feature. Used in the first and 3rd videos. You need to be quite close to the target for useful footage as you see ckearly in the 3rd one

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
