lbt, yes we'll probably be on that one as well. We're over in Village North this season. We stayed at the Woodrun on our first visit to Whistler and really liked it except for the hike up the hill after a night out! We ended up taking taxis back after a night out.

Linds, bad news - over 100cms of snow has fallen so far in 2006. The current mid mountain depth is >260cm, the season to date fall is >530cm

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH LATE SUNDAY NIGHT.
THIS WATCH INCLUDES THE WASATCH FRONT FROM TREMONTON SOUTH THROUGH UTAH COUNTY...INCLUDING THE GREATER SALT LAKE CITY METROPOLITAN AREA. 8-12 INCHES OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE ALONG THE BENCHES OF THE WASATCH FRONT...WITH 4-10 INCHES ON THE VALLEY FLOORS BY LATE SUNDAY NIGHT.
(and that's the forecast for the valley)

...THIS SNOW IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE INTO THE DAY SUNDAY...AND BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES BEFORE TAPERING OFF SUNDAY EVENING. AREAS SOUTH AND SOUTHEAST OF THE GREAT SALT LAKE MAY SEE PERIODS OF HEAVY SNOW LINGER THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT.

If you look under the tram, in the distance you'll see a post. Just to the left of that (but out of sight in the pic) is the chair lift which takes you to the top of the slope you ski half way down to our hotel. Then in the morning, you ski the other half, and you're at the tram.
