I suspect he spent the rest of the winter being a hippy and teleing  Nice stoke parlor - much hiking to those spots on a powder day or just early bird?

my parents have a german wire haired pointer, he is wicked.

No pictures to match these but for a relative newbie some great inspiration there - I am postively salivating here at the thought I may be up to those tricks one day. How can you all live without it and survive on just a few weeks a year - like only having beer for a week or two out of 52? Thanx for pics

I'mnot sure if Snowheads is a salve or exacerbates the itch. However as you can see from my post-count I scratch a fair amount.

parlor, that last picture you posted - was that green/orange combo your default uniform last season? If so I must have seen you around quite a bit. A friend of mine who is also a tele skier wears a very similar outfit and everytime I saw the flash of orange and that free heel flying I thought it was him. Then I remembered he lives in London and only came out for a few days so it wasn't him!

Not sure if this will work, but my first attempt at posting a pic. anyway. After about 50cm over night in the village of Val D'Isere on new years day 2006. Imagine what up top was like!!

parlor - are you set up for next season and are you doing weekends? I've got flights booked to Basel out v late Fri 29th Feb, back 21.55 flight on Mon 3rd March, with no accomodation booked yet...
Was thinking of going to Engelberg, but your pics have made me re-think and it appears Verbier is closish to Basel??
