The whole day it was snowing and/or foggy. A combination of sometimes big flakes, but most of the time skinny ones. At 3000 meter it was -3 degrees and the fresh layer of snow was about 5 cm thick. The new snow only holds on the old snow and melds on the bare parts of the mountains and the roads.

Wet snow? it is already april.
We have planned to stay here until the end of the season.

A lot of overcast and high temperatures. About +10 degrees during the day and no freezing in the last night. Wet and deep slushy snow everywhere. Some sunny spells during the afternoon and a strong wind at the tops. High avalanche risks at La Masse and so the lifts there were closed.

Beautiful weather during the morning with 5-10 cm fresh snow. In the afternoon very cloudy and sometimes light snowfall.

A quiet nice spring day with again fresh snow on the pistes. The fresh snow came down yesterday night between 18.00 and 24.00 and the new layer was between 10 and 15 cm thick. Just after 11.00 most clouds disappeared and the rest of the day it was sunny. Excellent conditions on and off-pistes.

Warm and very sunny day and small/medium avalanches everywhere.
Temperatures were more than good for the snow.

Sunny and warm today. The avalanche danger is still very high and you see avalanches everywhere. An avalanche covered a part of the piste Face in Méribel.

Today it was more summer than springtime. High temperatures and very sunny. After several days with this conditions there is important decrease in amount of snow. Above 2000 meter however there are no traces of a lack of snow. All pistes are still covered with enough snow for the coming time.
Several spontaneous and men triggered avalanches, closed pistes for safety and the extra presence of the "securite des pistes" are very common during these days.

Today started very foggy after 8 days with spring/summer weather. There was a short time some drizzle that changed into moderate snowfall during the rest of the day. At 18.00 hour there was already 10 cm snow on the ground and also much snow in the trees.

A layer of 15 cm fresh and temperatures below zero during the night. Foggy in the morning and some sunshine in the afternoon. Beautiful virgin snow and nobody on the pistes.

Skiing today was under(grey), through(zero visibility) and above the clouds(sunshine).

A grey day below 2800 meter. There was a thin layer of clouds between 2400 and 2800 meter. Above 2800 meter there was sunshine and a stunny sight on the "mer des nuages".
Temperature at 3000 meter was +5 degrees and there was no wind.

A beautiful sunny day with icy piste in the early morning and soft/slushy pistes in the afternoon. There is enough snow left in Les Menuires for the last three days of the season.

Again a beautiful sunny day with nice clouds and a little less warm than yesterday. Hardly nobody on the soft pistes of Méribel and Courchevel.

A beautiful sunny day, but a little less bright than before and no cumulus clouds. According to the forecast this was the last sunny day of the season in Les Menuires 2012/2013.

The excellent winterseason 2012/2013 for Les Menuires is over. The next weeks only the pistes of Val Thorens will be open.
Last night there was some light rain. During the morning and a part of the afternoon very cloudy and no sunshine. Some sunny spells during the second part of the afternoon. Moderate wind at 2800 meter with a temperature of +8 degrees. Soft pistes from top to bottom.

This was not a day to go to Val Thorens by car. Some sunny spells, light rain, fog, wind and some snowfall. Temperature started at +10 degrees and dropped to +2 at 18.00 hour.

No ski-in/ski-out during the coming days, but a daily trip of 8 km to Val Thorens. Today strong winds and some snowfall and on the upper pistes covered with fresh snow.
