When I had kids sleeping not just on sofa bed but also on camping mats on the floor, I found the ideal way of making them get up in the mornings so I could get breakfast on the table. I played my "French café music" CDs. Loudly. They hated it, but I wouldn't put it off until they'd all got up, rolled up their sleeping stuff and got out of my way.......

+1 the last time I slept on the top bunk, I totally forgot that I was on the top bunk when I got up for a pee, fortunately I didn't break anything as I hit the floor

Wasn't a poster 10 years ago, but I've certainly moved from the "any old space is good enough" to "What, no pristine white duvet covers on my own bedroom bed!". Age, I suppose.
Anyway, very surprised that no ones gone "Sofa bed....luxury"
