mucho better today, the piste preparation was superb and we had a bit colder conditions with blue skies, thin but grippy base over the ice so all is well. rumour has it a dump is on the way but clear skies so we shall see.

kitenski, I was. That was posted at coffee break from the Panoramic restaurant. It continued to snow during the afternoon, although was a bit windy. Raining/sleeting heavily in Val Claret on our way down, so fingers crossed that tomorrow will be epic for our last day on this trip.

Was thinking about tignes today, as I drove up from Albertville - it was raining really heavily. Hope it was snowy up there and everyone had fun.

Sleety snow at 1800m in Tignes Les Boisses, amounting to a few centimetres of snow. It still coming down, so should be good on the glacier tomorrow. Considering it's October it might be epic

First train up is 8.30am I think, but is full of mini racers so is best avoided. So any time from 9.00pm onwards is better. Lifts on the glacier close at 2.45pm, with the last train down at 3.30pm.

Still keeping in the loop... My wife's friends said it was awesome today! That's the best I can do until the weekend. I think Stewart Woodward is buying the coffee. I can pay at 2100 metres, but an altitude of 3200m is way past my price point. Marc de Savoie on the other hand...

Nice pics. Was it chilly up there, with the wind?

It was very pleasant, with very little wind. Mostly around zero degrees while we were there, but a bit colder yesterday and today (-10 at 9.30am today).
