Kitty, No just a last minute DIY trip for a couple of us. Couldn't get enough time off to stay longer so we have to leave Monday afternoon.

There's a storm a brewin' in Tignes. I hope it more than the forecast 4 cm at village level.
Oh and another lift opened today: Bollin. Since I spend about five months of the year on it, I thought I better get some practice!

Webcams look great today. Can someone on the ground let us know what is already open. We are coming out 6th Dec and can't wait! Looks like you can ski down .from the glacier on Double M, but also looks like people are skiing down piste H. Is the aeroski working or anything over by the Grande Pre lift?

Yes. Currently Bollin, Lanches, Vanoise, Rossolin, Champagny, 3500 and the Cable Car.
I'd guess that Tichot will be next if they get the canons pumping.

Thanks for the update. We went on 31st Nov last year and nearly everything on espace killy was open. We are hoping that the same if not more will be open this year as we are going a week later.
If you look at the webcam on Toviere Panorama, you can see some of the Grand Pre green runns have been bashed.

Just had a look at the webcams and you can see they have got the snow cannons going on the carlines run in Val Claret and also in Le Lac - and with the forecast of low temps for the rest of the week, it should mean they'll be able to run them all week and ensure the resort fully opens up next weekend.

Why does the build up to the first skiing of the year do this to us. I am constantly checking the weather forecast and the webcams.
Me and my mate are sending texts to each other everyday counting down the days and making comments about the webcams.
I just love it and cant wait to get there
