Last report for a few days as a dry spell rolls in. Scweitzer, Red Mtn, and 49N no new snow. Lookout 7", Silver 6" and Whitefish 4" in the 24 hour period with 1" falling overnight at all 3 ski areas.

Whitefish 4" in the 24 hour and 1" of which fell overnight. Trace at 49N, none at the other ski areas. Back to firm groomers.

Schweitzer was good over NY. Firmer on Sunday, but groomers good and off groomed ok on northside. Monday was a beautiful sunny day, groomers epic, and off-groomed soft and loaded with windblown pow was fantastic in places. So all holding up really well.
Think we'll try and hit Mission Ridge this weekend, so hopefully more storms will roll through.

Just received a email Red Mtn is now 100% open. In other news Schweitzer and Lookout are # 9 and12 in snow totals. At least we are skiiing. Next storm is predicted to be warm and windy again.
Fernie an Castle both 2" new snow.

Finally a small system has rolled through. Red lightly brushed with 2cm of snow. 49N almost as bad 1" at base 2" on top. Schweitzer received high honors with 5". Lookout and Silver both reporting 4". Whitefish 3".
Groomers have been okay but we really needed some new snow.

yep - we've got no plans this weekend but not looking like any storms before then. Next weekend we're at Red so some nice fluffy stuff before/during that trip would be nice.

A new storm cycle starting 1-3 inches so far heavier snow fall expected Mond ay into Wed. Excellent bases at the areas this should really improve the skiing.

yep - looks like La Nina is back. Forecast snow falls for the Cascades in next 3 days are in 50-80 inch range. Was snowing very hard when we left Mission Ridge this afternoon.

Hope you're right. Forecast for Red is changing hourly, but hopefully a decent top-up will arrive by Friday. Wish I'd been at Fernie this week!

The round of openings was great. Snow and crowds were another matter. Silver opened on Thursday with 23", Friday 49N opened with 17".
Currently we have a warm front moving through and once again Red Mtn. Leads with 15 cm/ 5.9". Schweitzer 7". 49N 4", Whitefish 3", Lookout 2" and Silver which did receive some liquid moisture yesterday 7" in 24 hr. And 2" overnight.
For a change wide rockered skis were a benefit.

We got the snow at Red this weekend. A little heavy on Saturday, but deep and great in trees. Topped up with light stuff Sunday. Not deep, but great skiing. Cover there is really good.
Next week of work. Where to go?? Huge problem

Monday OB very nice fresh snow and sunshine.

Mission was excellent today until the wind closed the top lift. Still a good day, superb wind blown snow and cover is as good as needed. Heading north now, Apex tomorrow ...

Enjoyed the wind blown snow Friday.
Apex should be fun. Lookout, Silver and Schweitzer are above freezing at base. Schweitzer and Lookout 1".
Whitefish 5" in 12 hr 7" in 24 hr, temps 25.
Stay north Gortonator were too warm.
