The pistes yesterday were pretty sketchy anyway, lots of big icy patches which highlight my poor technique. so i stay well clear.

Yes, I can confirm that there is PLENTY of snow. Wind made the conditions difficult but I'm not complaining about this much snow. Just hoping there will be a couple more lifts open tomorrow.

The run under the Tichot was really good today for a little bit of powder.
Need something with more steepness though.

Guys, a bit of topic i know, but 6 of us are going to Tignes (Val Claret) on the 12th of Jan. We were just wondering what the Apres ski is really like ? We have heard great, and also bad reports. We are all between 22-25, so we obviously like a good drink after a hard days skiing . Cheers.

livbes, After just returning from apres ski.... Theres a few good bars, we live in le levachet and the 2 bars closest to us are TC's and scottys, both of which have a good friendly atmosphere and the drinks didnt seem to be through the roof. (but don't expect to pay less that €5 a pint, that way you may be pleasently suprised when its only €4.50)
More on topic: Still snowing out here, fresh footsteps every time we walk out the door.

Just received an email from a frustrated val resident. Lots of fresh snow but very few lifts open due to wind.
