Looks crap. You should have come throught the tunnel to courmayeur. Chest deep on the old lift line between Maison Vieille and the bottom of Bertolini. Ask Gavin @ skiWeekend

firebug, are you Stu the trainee guide? We've decided to give the VB a miss, the off piste in resort is very crusty today, and the depth means it'll be a hellish to move on the flat - I saw a boarder lying on his board today trying to swim out of a flat spot off-piste

Le Tour today, very quiet, piste in excellent condition, off piste awesome once the sun's had a glimpse. Worth the hike.

A question for all you lucky people already on holiday or living in the valley, how are the current conditions? and are the milder daytime temps having any effect on the slopes or the ammount of snow in the villages?

Grands Montets yesterday, its not quite as good as it looks the OP is getting heavy and the piste is a bit scraped off in places, as for being lucky....

SMALLZOOKEEPER, what I mean by lucky is that I have to wait 12 months between getting
my next fix of the mountains and my holiday.
is not for another 2 weeks. Plus this year I can only get away skiing for 5 days.
So people who are their are fortunate in my eyes.
