JT Nice to see (I presume) Bevis rockin the tele steez in such fine style.
EDIT to note inappropriate grammar - hopefully Lizzard will pick me me up on it The use of the style here is obviously redundant as "unstylish steez" is a contradiction.

JT, Another good one !
I had a couple of trips 05/06 season to the Pyrenees where the powder was over our knees in places but due to poor visibity and only learning (to board) at the time , taking pics wasnt priority. Wish we had taken some now !!

kitenski, OOoh ...nice lines. I reckon I recall the same days in the PDS - reckon you could hardly get better conditions. Woof woof woof.
P.S. Someone asked if that was the Linga run a couple of pages ago, yes it was. No idea if that's its name...

Markus, So those are moguls...................I keep hearing them described, but hadn't appreciated how regular or close together they could be, and they're caused by many people just taking a regular line down the piste? I can now appreciate why people say that skiing them is difficult - thank you for posting that one.

Mosha Marc, They look huge...... are they also caused by skiers or are they the result of a natural phenomenon?

Swirly, Gorgeous. I just love the way the Dolomite peaks are so spiky that they don't hold much snow, and that amazing pink is still visible. I've never been to La Plagne (not very keen on modern French resorts, though I know that means I'm missing out on some good skiing.)

Fresh from my limited success in learning to use Windows Movie Maker and chop some footage around, and feeling depressed at the endless rain outside I've just uploaded this footage of a great powder day in Verbier last March

Same time as the video footage I posted. The Tortin stuff was on the 19th and the Fontenays stuff from the 20th. Skiied all that week with a couple of friends who worked for the ESS and had had the foresight to book that week off. Quite lucky really because I was meant to go back to the UK Sunday night and then come back Tuesday morning, but I missed the flight because of a traffic jam at the Aigle motorway junction, came back to Verbier and had some of the best conditions of the season on the Monday and Tuesday. Snow gods smiling on me obviously!
