Any way new descent ...>

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I should have realised the pyramidal mountain was too small for the Matterhorn! But the building was almost identical to one I sheltered in in a blizzard on the Rothorn (I thought).
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@PROJECT_MANAGER, looks like the top a line I can’t think the name of from the punta Indren cabin. Descends to Alagna.
Gabiet-Salati gondola before you get to Punta Indren - main descent from there is Piloni Salati
Then you can post your own questions or snow reports...

@Sharkymark, Going to give this one to Sharky, As the picture is taken just behind the 'old' Punta Indren lift station

@PROJECT_MANAGER, it’s a cracker of a line. New one coming up...

@snowball even better work. Bonus points for which one!
Think you might have given the game away

@Sharkymark, something in the Maurienne?
And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

@Arno, Something, yes
So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

@Sharkymark, Near Saint Remy De Maurienne?
You know it makes sense.
You know it makes sense.
I know the Haute Maurienne well (loads of good off-piste there) but cannot seem to link it to any of the 6 resorts up there, unless it is the couloir des Militaires at Val Frejus.
I don't know the Lower Maurienne at all.
Otherwise you'll just go on seeing the one name:

@snowball, Having just watched a video on youtube me thinks you have got it as there is a rock on the R Hand side of the couloir that is exactly the same as this 0.32mins

Awaiting another one from @Snowball any guesses on this one?
Loving the ‘Ski Touring Extreme’ tag they have put on there...

I don't immediately have the answer to that couloir and was just popping in to see if I had got the Militaires right.
Meanwhile I will put my couloir on here which is less well known than the main face: this was taken from part way down it, if I remember right.
By the way, if anyone wants a guide for the Haute Maurienne might I throughly recommend Zeb Roche, who is one of my 3 favourite guides. He gives you an exciting time and is also an astonishingly good judge of snow and safety. He first climbed Everest when he was 16 and when he married he and his wife climbed it for their honeymoon and paraglided off the top. I hire him every year (not just for the Maurienne, where he lives, but also Verbier where he did 2 years, the Dolomites and other places).

@gorilla, absolutely correct.
Now your go, but has anyone identified @BobinCH's photo above?

@snowball, think I've skied that but it was a long while ago
I suspect that BobinCH's will be difficult. I was with him and could point to it on a map (this may be a clue for those familiar with my skiing habits) but I'm not sure it even has an official name! It's quite a process getting to it so I don't think it gets skied too much

I was fairly sure I hadn't skied it. I am not a tourer, only being willing to do relatively short skins of perhaps an hour, (or in the past occasionally two hours) in order to access exceptional descents. Unfortunately recently I have got giddy doing quite moderate ascents, and this persists and spoils my skiing. Neurological investigation has not solved why.
You know it makes sense.

Huzzah!
I cannot get access to the computer with my photos on it right now. Will post something tonight.
I suspect that Bob's is the Bec de Rosses in the direction of Fionnay but I am far from certain.
Otherwise you'll just go on seeing the one name:

This is a good poi t. I have no idea what it’s called. Maybe one of these colorful chaps can remember?
