I also think I referred to the GPS toy as ghey at first, but am tempted for next season!  One thing I have noticed since being back to work.....the car feels really really slow!!!!

We were easily doing 60mph+, good job the piste was empty and the rollers not too severe.

FenlandSkier, I like having a secondary witness for that! Such figures normally get the bu#lsh##e respone! Damn those kids on the second run!
Those rollers did reduce the snow melting friction of my ski's!

skisimon, I think I'd like to do a couple of hours on each of the three days, if that's possible. Preferably after boilerplate but before terminal slush sets in; could be a narrow window of opportunity. Thanks very much for offering to co-ordinate this; is there another thread for October?

VolklAttivaS5, not final yet. original suggestion was 11th - 14th as that is the last few days of teh offer, but the previous weekend may be an option. I suspect when we get down to booking we'll have a number of groups going on different days with crossovers. You can go any day of the week, weekends have a supplement (but you save leave time). We also have to consider that while we will have pre-sale opportunity to book it will be open to the general public as well.

holidayloverxx, hiya, thanks but the reason I was asking was because I'm going to be in Tignes anyway in early December as have a holiday already booked so I thought I could meet up with some fellow Snowheads if they like on Saturday 13th Dec or possibly one of the other days. Can people go to the ski testing etc on whatever day if they don't need the accomodation offer with Mountain Sun like me?

VolklAttivaS5, not sure how it iwll work this year. At the Atomic camp the kit was supplied to the chalet, I suspect it will be the same. Maybe a separate arrangement coudl be made with Joanne?

What lifts will be open !!. Presume it will just be the glacier area as it is pre season or not ?.

Kel, we are all definite maybe's at the mo'.
I said I would co-ordinate, meaning that Joanne at Moutnain Sun would have an idea of the masses of snowheads that are planning on descending. We would all book directly with Mountain Sun as I am not an operator (but I will happlily coordinate the bookings). The point is, IMV, that lots of peeps want to go, there are a variety of flights available and we may, by joining up (and me liaising with Joanne) get the best deal overall.
If you want to do your own thing then go ahead and we'll see you there
