She'd been training for a career in the police alongside her ski career, and gave a nice interview where she just said that she couldn't devote her whole life to skiing anymore and needed to do something new.
Good luck to her-a good racer who could be really exciting when it clicked.

Do we know of Dave Rydings status for this season? I haven't seen any notice of his retirement but one assumes this will be his final season.
Again, the funding is such a pivotal issue for the British squad, Dave, possibly attracts greater interest than some of the others with his obvious successes.
