Most languages other than English have different noun classes - kiSwahili has 9 (each with a single and plural form) like most African languages. In some Australian languages the classification depends on whether a man or woman is speaking, according to wikipedia.
So we should be grateful French and Italian only have two. Even German has three!

Current FIS Equipment rules state minimum length for Mens DH skis at EC/WC level is 218cm. I can only find references to 211 and 216 in the Head i.DH RD that is available to the general public. I guess you can't get, and really don't want, the 218s unless you're a Head sponsored athlete at EC/WC level.
Next year the length changes to 218 for FIS Jrs too, but they get a -5cm tolerance.

Hey primoz, were you at the floodlit slalom in Flachau last week ? I was stood at the side of the course and wondered if you were one of the 'togs

Tarquin, yes I was there. But I was on crappy position somewhere up on middle of course, since colleague was down on bottom (on nice position). I was up near that "bar" on middle of course just under first brake and there was only 3 or 4 of us there.
