I keep getting frozen pages and "page unavailable" messages.
I also see that I am the only one on this forum, which is unheard of. Is there a problem?

No Michael B, I couldn't get in! Sometimes the site does seem to drop to 33rpm (ah, that's showing my age), especially after midnight - but then I guess we are all bit slow about then. I have wondered if it is my computer, the line or the server. Ian H - any ideas?

The company that hosts our server suffered what's called a 'denial of service attack' a couple of weeks ago and have been upgrading systems since, to better deal with such problems in the future.
I believe these changes are the cause of the hangups.
A measure of the situation is that we asked for a resources upgrade just before the DoS attack occured, which they have not been able to deliver yet despite the fact that it would get them more money from us.
I feel thing have improved slightly over the last 2 weeks but it is frustrating nevertheless.
