Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Is it acceptable to have just one poodle per group, or should each skier be poodled up?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Why not just fit a tranceiver to the poodle and then reuse it? Seems expensive to keep getting new poodles all the time.

Apparently all the rando dudes are using chiwahwas (how the hell do you spell that?!) - lighter weight and smaller pack size.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

If you get an adequately sized poodle it can walk itself. No need for packing it in your handbag.

As a traditionalist, I can't believe we aren't using St Bernards for this. The number of out of work St Bernards is increasing dramatically due to global warming and the use of modern fancy gizmos to rescue people. Their trade union has been very active of late, suggesting that poodles coming from eastern europe to take their jobs etc will not be tolerated.

Surely overkill what about avalanche cords on the poodle? I believe they would have helped in the Lewes avalanche

Perhaps this would be a good use for Staffordshire Bull Terriers? The dogs homes seem desperate to get rid of the things, and most of them are barely trained, might as well point them downhill and see what happens.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

But can you take it on a plane in your handbaggage? And should it wear a helmet?

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Yes, or a St Bernard. The trouble with poodles is they are too lightweight to set off avalanches as the cartoon shows. I sometimes have the same worry when skiing with a lightweight guide.

Animal lovers could alternatively phone up NATO and tell them they saw Colonel Gadaffi hiding a plane under the snow.
