Bansko (Bulgaria) seems to open on Dec 11th. Hopefully the forecasts for very snowy and cold winter will do good to the beginning of the season.

Heard its 27 degrees in central Bulgaria at the moment and very warm and sunny!
Few resorts in Europe have put opening dates back a week as wasn't much snow but currently snowing above 1000 m in the Three Valleys so fingers crossed.

Jackson Hole opened the most terrain in history on opening day this Saturday. Top to Bottom and Wall to Wall, and the entire mountain skied great. If you were nervous about visiting Jackson Hole in December...don't be. Over 130" has fallen so far this season, and the storms keep stacking up!

Wengen is open (since 4 december) we still need more snow but with close to 60% snow making only three lifts are closed today, 12 dec. resort closes 25 april (though some lifts will close 10th)
