Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person
For those who don't recognise the photo, that's Pete skiing on the roof of The Snow Centre at Hemel.

Wow - that's pretty cool all round, good word play, good publicity, good idea; something not many people will ever do I guess.

Brilliant.

If you could get a sense of scale, perspective and location in the shot, then that would be $$$$$$

Mike Pow, yeah, a shot from a helicopter or similar high vantage point would have been cool. Here are some others:

Fantastic story, fantastic photos. Just wish I'd seen this before heading out to HH today. I'd have taken a better look at the roof. Night skiing next?

Kudos to Pete - might not have been quite first down the inside but certainly the first down the outside! Both inspired and gutsy as while the lower end of the roof abuts a building it would be real easy to ski off the sides. Luckily Pete really is as expert off piste as they come! He showed me a vid when I was there this morning as well.

In case anyone's wondering, the roof is covered by a growth of sedum, a leafy succulent, so it's a bit like a low Austrian resort - pastureland only requiring a few inches of snow to be very skiable. That said this activity is definitely a DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!
