As my skiing for this season is now over until next year, is there a correct way to store ski boots ?
buckles tightened / loose / undone ?

Buckles loosely fastened, stored in the boot bag in the bottom of the wardrobe. Oh I make sure they are dried out before storage

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Alternatively you could:
Return from last trip of the season, fling them in a corner of the spare room.
After a suitable length of time, remember to take them out of their bag and fling them in general vicinity of the radiator.
Leave in position for all of the summer and a good proportion of the autumn.
Around the end of October, do up the clips and store them carefully back in bag - place in attic.
A week later, go up to attic and retrieve them for pre-season trip to snowdome.
Return and fling them in the the corner of the spare room again.
One week before first trip of the season, do up the clips and put them carefully in their bag - place in attic.
Repeat annually, as required.
