Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

hello all.
myself and a friend booked up some £10 tickets on ryanair wed 28thjan-monday 02 feb flyign to girona. we did the same trip last year and stayed at a friends house (shack) in mosset and went skiing each day at font romeu, les angles, formiguer etc. unfortunately this year our frined cant make it and doubtful we can stay at his as his plumbing is frozen so we're looking for somewhere else to stay.
we will hire a car so transport isnt a problem but was wondering is anyone knows any cheap b+b /hostel places we can stay in eastern pyrenees or andorra for 2 or 4 people., or has rooms in thier house they rent out in or near ant of the resorts for. we're all mid 20's and like a beer or 2 but more interested in skiing/boarding than hardcore partying.
any advise or recomendations much appreciated.

I did a long weekend in Font Romeu a few years ago and stayed in Hotel de la Poste. They were happy with weekend bookings then and it was cheap enough.

Try the hotel roc in soldeu pal, we stop there every year for the lads trip, its a great little hotel 4 mins walk from soldeu centre, really nice people how own it

Hotel D'Argent in Pas De La Casa. About £80 a night for a double room and the best breakfast ever in a ski resort. It's a very good hotel as well - you even get free slippers!!! (That would cost £750 a night in France

The Hotel Coq d'Or in Les Angles is around €150 a night I think for 4 people demi-pension.
