Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I decided to buy Head Edge http://www.head.com/ski/ski.php?region=ce&tag=multi_condition&id=1481 , but then i saw Rossignols Zenith Z3 http://www.head.com/ski/ski.php?region=ce&tag=multi_condition&id=1481 , for the same price. can someone directly compare them both? i never had rossis' in my experience.
both skis are pretty much same level, so i dont think i need to give detailed info of myself... Style: Giant Slalom, Skill level: upper intermediate.

I've taken a few pairs of Rossignols out over the last couple of years and have been very impressed with them all (though not quite impressed enough to tempt me away from my usual Germanic purchases of Volkl and Fischer).

I haven't skied on Heads though. So I'm about as able to compare the two as you are... Embarassed

comprex is spot on
I don't know much about the Head, but the Rossi Z3 is pretty much a beginner to intermediate ski (more beginner), if you are an intermediate to advanced skier you will find the ski to be too flexible and not stable enough at high speeds. I have a pair of z9, awesome ski, or go for the z5 (z6 this season i think?).

fess, we -know- your budget is limited. We -know- you are 110lbs and signed up for a school team.

We are asking whether the shops near you have any junior race skis in any brand whatsoever instead of cruisy skis for someone's wife.

Oh, you're dealing with Skis and Biikes, good.
http://www.skiisandbiikes.com/halfback.htm

The RX9s you link to are a worthy ski for sure; they are an adult ski tho. I must admit I was thinking more along the lines of junior race skis (in the longer lengths, but still junior flex).
