A couple of places have become available for our weekend trip to Meribel 14th/15th -18th January. 4 FULL DAYS SLOPE TIME !

It's an all boy trip, 35-45 age group in the main, skiers, boarders, mixed ability.
Catered chalet.
Lift to/from GVA available .

Mosha Marc, what a shame.
GVA to Meribel should be less than 2.5 hrs, not too bad imho. The chalet we booked is from Thu 15th but we can get there the night before if we want, so that's what most of us are doing, getting a late flight out Wed 14th, arriving GVA about 20:30, then drive to Meribel in time for a couple of quick drinks before heads down for first lifts Thu am. Flight back Sun pm is about 21:30 - that's how we get 4 full days skiing.

Might be interested (2 boarders in their 30's) but won't know until next week.
Question: if you're travelling on Wed night but chalet only available on Thurs, are you sleeping on a park bench or in a club?

Kruisler, no park bench I'm afraid, we have the option to go direct to the chalet on the Wed night, effectively pay b&b for that night at £25 p/p. Our flights all arrive GVA between 8pm and 9pm, we then car share to Meribel, get there about midnight, a few night caps, then heads down for the first lift.
If there are 2 of you and you can arrive on the same flights (combination of Liverpoool, Luton and Stansted - all Easyjet) then we could upgrade our hire cars to take 2 extra people no problem - return cost could be about £50 p/p inc. fuel.
