Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

jase2472, That sounds rather good .. not that I know anything of the routes. My advice would be grab before it goes up.

last year at the sametime I paid roughly the same with Easyjet, it cost us £432 for a family of 4, however that was going out on a Sat, coming back on a Sun, so I had to stay a night just outside Geneva.....

jase2472 bearing in mind that with sleazyjet even the taxes and baggage/ski carriage costs alone must be £80+ I think you'd be wise to book the Swissair ones now

surely at easter you should be flying out on the friday and back following sunday to maximise slope time...... Very Happy

Reputable airline
Best not forget that not that long ago Swissair went bust (and the financial climate was good, cheap oil) and resurfaced as Swiss International. Could happen again. Anything is possible between now and Easter. Mr O'Leary is predicting a large number of airline collapses, so is Willie Walsh.

That's a good price; easyJet won't be super cheap for weekends around Easter.

jase2472, Book, good price. Don't be too worried about them going bust they are owned by Lufthansa, one of the more secure airlines.

jase2472, With Swissair you can, depending on your destination resort, take full advantage of Flyrail. I don't know if you can with Easyjet.

rich.ll, What is Flyrail? I'm flying to Zurich with BA in February then using a Swiss transfer Ticket to get to Zermatt. Is this something different?

Colin B, Flyrail is a way of getting your bags transported to the resort. You check them in at the UK airport and you'll next see them at the railway station in the resort (many hotels will collect them from the railway for you). You pay for each bag. It works with many airlines, including BA.

On the way home you can check the bags in at the railway station and that's the last you see of them until you're back at the UK airport.

The bags don't travel on the same trains as you so they don't get to resort until a few hours after you.

rich.ll, Thanks, good idea, and not too expensive. I might think about doing that on the way out at least, in an apartment though not a hotel so I'll still have to collect them.

Its a lottery but I have had some pretty good late package deals at Easter. But you will have to be prepared to be herded around Geneva airport like cattle.
