Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Any recommendations for someone stuck between beginner and intermediate who hasn't skied for a few years?

Agreed. Friends had lessons with Mountain Masters, and rated them highly. I have had New Gen in Courchevel and rated them highly too.

Just back from Val d'Isere - amazing trip, even got engaged!! We used Evolution 2 and found them excellent. There were 26 of us out there - ranging from complete beginners to black slope/off-piste skiers and they catered for us all. Found the instructors extremely good and the office staff very helpful.

hyweljenkins, Mountain Masters are fab, particularly Rupert Goldring. We had a couple of lessons from them in Val just before Christmas, and Mr DS had lessons from him in Tignes in November 2006.

Can't comment on New Gen or Evo2 as we haven't been with them.

Thanks pam w and Kramer! Perfect week I must say. And we are thinking of having a ski wedding too!! BTW could be wrong but I think the Development Centre is owned by the same company as Evolution 2 and I have heard good things about it.

I can vouch for Evolution 2 , daughter 19 , never skied before and was skiing blues in Val last year by the end of the week.

RobCrock, I'd second that. We had a few lads with us that skied for the first time last year. Progressed to blues by the end of that trip (Ischgl) but after lessons with Evolution 2 managed to get them down Le Face (black).
