I think the US release date is May, with no date set yet for here. The makers of 'Family Ski' are modifying it to work with the balance board which is packaged with Wii Fit. The balance board has the potential to be used as a controller for lots of new games - but my guess would be that Wii Fit will be the 'must have / can't get' gadget for Christmas 2008.

Looks like great fun. By the way, if anyone is thinking about buying SSX Blur on Wii - don't. Truly awful.

stoatsbrother, maybe it's the reuse of the tracks from SSX On Tour (PSP) - that was a good game. The controls on Wii are nothing like as responsive.

Cool bit of kit to add to Wii. Already got SSX blur which is near as I get to the slopes most months. One to keep eye on. Bound to come down in price though from £69.99.

croskemj, I have SSX Blur for the Wii but also the SSX titles for the Playstation and the PSP. Its better on the PSP than it is on the Wii !

I find SSX Blur is ok on the Wii except for those really annoying "uber-trick" movements you have to make, which have no relation whatsoever to the trick being performed. But other than that I do find the basic control method pretty intuitive. It just takes a little time to get used to it.

Played golf on my nephews and nieces machine over Christmas.
Driving, chipping etc. are fine but I just could get the putting to work.
You get so frustrated at nothing happening that you then give it an almighty whack and go right through the green.

Apparantly the folks at Nintendo are relasing a version of the Snowheads MSB
The are going to call it Wii Fat !!!
