Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I decided to use Snowrental website to book my family's rental gear for Val T next week.
Used the system last year in Val D and it was fine.

Having got a quote, with -34% off the RRP, I thought I'd go to the ski shops own web site and see what they were charging.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the RRP quoted on Snowrental, was the one quoted from the shop (yes I am a cynical old git Mad )
I progressed through the hire shops site to booking and it took me to Snowrentals site, but here only a -20% discount Puzzled

You'd expect the 3rd party to give the smaller discount, not the hire shop.

So at the moment, thumbs up for snowrental

By the way 99.91 Euro for premium boots and skis (or board and boots) for 6 days and the shop is part of the collection of Rabbit hutches in which we will be staying

Sounds like a good price. I know that the numbers (% off) can be deceiving though. It all comes down to what gear you get and what condition it is in. If you check out the rentals in my signatures, you will see they cost more then you are paying (also an expensive resort), but I know they are new models in great condition.
