Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A friend skinned up from the Saddle to Whistler Bowl and skied it to Highway 86 reporting remarkably stable conditions.

I am heading up to resort later, getting the greyhound unless you can advise anyone that would like some "gas" money

Sorry no offence meant - just jealous you guys are getting so much- I made an early season trip to Whistler once (early December) & skiing was pretty much restricted to the Horstmann & the terrain park Sad

Paul- Its been snowing since 11 pm. I'll be heading up on Thursday again but I have to be in the city till then.

haha - I'll be watermarking my photos from here on. Its not the most aesthetic solution but unfortunately necessary.

Early season can be extremely bare in Whistler - but not this year.

Fantastic conditions today. Its been snowing most of the day and there is lots of powder. Chatting to a few locals who are saying its the best opening conditions they have ever had. The wind got up a bit this afternoon making it a bit chilly on the chairs.
