Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

National Snow Show

Only a month and a bit away now to the National Snow Show... so the big question...

NEC or Excel?

Looks like parking at NEC will be cheaper. Looks like overall they will be similar but the exhibitors are different between the two. Looks like a lot of the smaller retails are only going to 1 of the two events.

Last year we found it a good day out and something to get us and the kids into the mood.

@Rob_Quads, NEC is almost in the centre of the country and next to a mainline railway station. Whereas ....

As we live in London its Excel for us.

Unfortunately both are in large windowless sheds, certainly takes the sense of the outdoors away.

Battersea was pretty good in that regard and the food was good, a good day out.

The food at the NEC is absolutely gopping!

Yeah it is a shame its not back at Battersea, seemed like a great location and the kids loved the outdoor stalls and the Pizzas were to die for.

I can’t think they sell any tickets or anyone would rush to buy them the number of codes and freebies issued throughout the year.

@ster, Anecdotally I've seen far fewer free ticket offers this time around. Previously virtually any exhibitor that I was on a mailing list for or followed on social media was pushing free tickets, but I've seen relatively few this time, and all (apart from the one I mention above) were around the launch back in March. Perhaps as we get closer more will emerge as they see how many people have or have not paid for tickets.
Honestly, based on last years at NEC, I'm not sure I would actually pay for tickets - but then I guess I'm not the target audience, as I tend to have resorts picked for me based on groups I'll be skiing with. snowHead

I'll be at the NEC, possibly both days, depending on agenda.

@Mike Pow, I listened to you at some point last year, and it was very interesting. Part of a panel talking about less well known destinations including Turkey I think?

Aw-www! I have just missed this at the NEC. I used to go regularly to the Ski Show at the NEC way back when it was in being. I didn't know about the Snow show had started up. In my calendar for next year.
